The”B” team is wondering how the Salmon River steelhead run looks so far this year, and if you’ve seen many big ones, in particular, -’got one as big as Butchie and Joe’s “The Principal” or is 21lbs and change still about it for the Schoolhouse pool?

Obviously this is a little more difficult than I thought it would be. If anyone has any suggestions or comments please sign up and send them on over. I’ll try to post some updates on what’s happening over in Pulaski and give everyone news on upcoming events. I do know that Trapper is attending an outdoor show in Harrisburg, PA soon. I’ll try and find out the dates so anyone in the area can stop by and say hello.

Thanks to one and all for the great trip that you put on. It is a trip of a
lifetime and you all do the best to make it that. We are very, very happy
with the whole trip and would suggest to anyone to come up to Alaska and
spend a week fishing and relaxing with all of you.
Thanks again

Hi Guys and Terri…Yeah, Butch, I’m still trying to hook those flippin’ browns! I saw you running the hook point on the ledge before you handed it to me!!! Didn’t get to Maxwell this year or Salmon either. Did get to North Dakota for 2 weeks pheasant hunting though (believe it or not, too many birds!) Hope you had a good season in AK. How’s the Salmon river fishing these days? Looks like the flow at Pineville has been pretty good these days. What’s your sense of the steelhead population…up or down or level? Got much snow yet? Nice to see you’ve come out of the woods (at least a little ways) and are using these new-fangled toys! I’ll call to schedule a couple days fishing soon…
